Jacob Max—Mexico City North Mission

Hello, I’m here again. This is how my week went.  On Tuesday we had our district council as normal. In hindsight it feels like Tuesday happened ages ago. Not too much happened that day from what I can recall. We helped a lady move furniture from her house though. Wednesday, was the mission Christmas party. It was pretty cool. The mission has indeed grown since last year. There are a ton of missionaries that I don't know. There were various activities like piñatas, gift exchanges, bingo, a talent show, a devotional and stuff like that. The best part honestly is just talking with the missionaries you haven’t seen in a while. We got home that night just before 9:30 , so we didn’t have time to do lessons. (Dang this letter has had a very exciting start hasn’t it?)  Thursday though, we had a cool day. In the morning we had to go to interviews with President.  Hello. So this week was indeed a memorable one. On Wednesday, we had the opportunity to go to the temple. Over a year ago (late September I believe), I was a fresh, new missionary (although with nearly 18 months as a missionary, I still feel rather new) and my first transfer in Mexico was soon coming to a close, we baptized an extremely nice woman named Norma. Anyway. I found the email I sent that week and this is how I described the baptism. The following is an excerpt from a letter written on September 27th, 2021, titled: “I was afraid I was gonna kill the poor woman”:   Now, I suppose I should explain myself and the title of the letter.
