So lets see. On Tuesday for Lunch, we didn't have a member to give us food, so we decided to make some nachos. The night previous a member had given us a huge block of cheese and we needed to do something with it. The cheese was freaking good too. Later we decided to call Angelina. She's the lady who was telling us all the bad stuff was happening in her house. Like a super awful smell at all times. This lady is super depressed. She Works construction even though she's in her 60s and she's always super tired and scared and her family has completely abandoned her. We went to her house and she's just in a bad state. She didn't even want to live or anything anymore. We gave her a blessing and one to her house and she felt better afterwards. The problem is that every time we give her blessings, she says the stuff still happens right after we leave. We decided that this whole situation was too big for just us, so we're gonna have to enlist the whole ward to help u...

This week was not the most exciting in terms of anything, but it wasn't a bad week either I suppose. Tuesday. District council and all that. The APs were there and when we were talking about our weekly numbers, we totally just threw my old comp under the bus, cause he used to invent numbers, and we didn’t want the APs to go back to president and tell him our numbers are so much worse now that "elder Alvarez is gone" the numbers aren't worse, they're just real. Afterwards we went to go eat at this burrito place. It was extremely fancy and I kid you not, it was the first real restaurant I've been in in Mexico. Almost all of the places to eat are stands or outdoor places where you order at the counter and go sit in weak plastic chairs. This place was all nice and fancy and it was indoors! The burritos were good and then we got the check and for 1 burrito nothing else it was like 125 pesos. It was for sure the most expensive item of food I’ve purchased in 7 month...

Hello. So this week we had transfers. I’m here in Melchor Ocampo still but I got a new comp. He’s Elder Gonzalez. He’s already my favorite companion I’ve had. He likes to work, but I don’t think I’ve ever laughed so much either with a companion I’ve had.  Anyways.  Tuesday there ain’t much to say, we had district council and I got us lost on the way. Later we had a lesson with Víctor on the phone and with Elizabeth and she drank Coffee again. I finally used D&C 89 to explain it, and guess what? She understood it better then she ever had before 😱😱. Wednesday we went over to teach Jesús, he’s the blind recent convert, he’s a great dude, but during the lesson we realized he didn’t even know how to pray or anything yet the last missionaries still baptized the guy. He has a super fat dog. We asked what its name was and he said he didn't really know, he said he just calls it "dog" sometimes. We also taught this guy Moisés who was in teaching previously but I guess the bap...

Hello. Well I suppose I should start writing this dang thing. Its gonna be a short one I'm afraid. Not a ton happened and we've got to go to the mission offices for transfers. (my comps leaving that's why there's that title)  The first half of the week was not the best. I mentioned last week, on Saturday night, I got hit by a bus with a school load of children (no it was covid but it hit me hard). So as I mentioned Sunday, Monday (P-day sadly enough) was quarantine. Tuesday and Wednesday too. I don't recommend getting sick cause that sore throat killed me. Anyway. Tuesday we only taught two lessons. One was with Elizabeth, and she is just a very strange woman. We called her when she was sitting in a very crowded combi and she wanted us to teach her anyway. So she was on speaker phone and just listening and talking for everyone on the combi to hear. We had her read some scriptures and one of the ones she read was about the "wailing and gnashing of teeth" an...
