I thought he was dead

Hi, This was one of those slower weeks I'm sad to say. Tuesday was district conference and all that. We had some lessons planned for the night and so we walked to this one guys house for a lesson with a member and he wasn't there and that was the second time that this is happened with this guy so that wasn't great. Afterwards we went to teach Silvestre and he invited the lady he lives with to listen so that was good BUT we found out he has to get divorced and married again.  Wednesday we visited good old Norma. She showed us randomly a ton of pictures of central México city and I want to go sooo bad. Norma was also super excited cause someone had asked her what church she went to and she told them and she was so excited she had shared the gospel. I'll miss Norma when I leave.  Thursday was Thanksgiving and all that so I was expecting to be feeling all sad, but luckily I didn't have time to think about that cause we were super busy. We went to Quma and we taught som...

Tuesday.  I think hitting my 4 month mark has made me feel like I've been in the mission for so long but still feel like I'm not a dent in my mission was a thought that I kept having to start the week. We went to a place near Quma to visit the guy with one leg, who has no windows, half a roof, plant growth in his house, and literally NOBODY to visit him and every time I've ever talked to that guy he's been in a great mood. After we visited the other guy with no leg and the lady he lives with who's so nice and they gave us some rice. Apparently Mexicans put bananas, jalapeños, and peanuts on their rice. It wasn't actually that gross. Later we finally returned to the main part of the area for another lesson with a guy named Silvestre. Silvestre has a little shop where he sells tools and stuff right out of his garage and literally, I have walked past him everyday of my mission and said like good morning and stuff but never actually had talked to him until late last...

Sunday was just weird

Its true it was but ill get into that  Tuesday was pretty boring. In the afternoon we went to Quma and I don't know how many more Quma trips this guy (me) can take. We taught some people including our one legged friend. Also I'm not kidding I saw ANOTHER one legged dude in Quma. Thats about it though I cant really think of anything that interesting that happened on Tuesday. Wednesday was the same thing not a ton, but a Lady gave us money for KFC (the same who last week told me a gargantuan American like me could easily inhale 10 pieces of KFC. Well it wasn't EXACTLY like that but) and we ordered 8 pieces but for some reason they threw in 7 more for free. KFC is good but when you have that much, it becomes a daunting task and KFC seems like a monster of skin and grease.  Thursday ALSO was quite uneventful but in the night some dude named Alejandro came to the church for a lesson. I’ve mentioned him before but he's just weird. He's always got a look like he's dizz...

Well, normally I start these letters skipping Monday cause nothing ever happens on Monday, but this Monday was a little different. Once a transfer we can go anywhere in the mission on P-day. We were gonna go to an area and walk around for Día de Muertos and so in the morning we used he last of our money from the last week to take a combi to the plaza with the atms to get money out for our travels for the day and for the rest of the week. When we arrived at the atms, the line was super long and it turns out that only 1 of the 3 atms was on and when we finally got to it, it turns out it had ran out of money. Also its important to note that my companion had left his cards at the house (classic) so it was just me who had cards. We then went to the bank and everyone who was just at the ATM was lined up at the bank so we (I) waited for a SUPER long time, and when I got to the front desk, they told me that they don't accept US cards. The problem is that my personal and also the mission ca...

I don't really have a title this week, but I was informed by my companion that if I was from México this would be my name cause everyone here has about 8 names.  Lets see. This week wasn't all that eventful, but I suppose I should write anyway lest the wrath of those who for some reason enjoy my dumb ol’ letters be invoked.  Túz day- we had our final exchanges of the transfer. I was with Elder Randall from Montana. We didn't have a ton of things to do. We went to the Stake Presidents house (who I'm convinced is way to nice of a man to be a Stake President) to eat. 4 missionaries went, and we had pezole and they always have tostada shells with crema, and I once in another letter mentioned it, but the shells with crema are the greatest food on the planet. Afterwards we walked back through Cañada (the coolest part of the mission) and went back to the church and then Elder Randall’s area, which is really cool. We only had one lesson that night so me and Elder Randall went ...
